Role: Financial Manager
Location: Birmingham
Working: Hybrid 2 days per week in the office - full time role
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum plus package
Qualifications: Candidates must be Big 4 ACA or ACCA qualified
Candidate Background: Candidates will ideally have working in Housing or Care or clients within these sectors - however, candidate who have the Big 4 qualification will be considered from all industries
About the Organisation for the Financial Manager Position:
This role will be working for a Care and Supported Housing organisation, on the outskirts of Birmingham, focused on providing safe living environment for those in need. The role will have an all encompasses capacity and wide range of autonomy over a small finance team. This position will be able to steer the direction of the organisation with the view for progression to Finance Director.
Duties of the Financial Manager
* Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
* Prepare statutory accounts for all legal entities
* Collaborate with the FP&A Team
* Work with auditors and tax consultants for the group
* Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data
* Implement and maintain financial reporting systems and processes
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Exceptional Excel and Analytic skills
* Management of a small team
* Lead on the audit
* Deal with end to end Financial Reporting
