Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
The FPA Manager is responsible for standardising financial and sales reporting across the business, and providing commentary and recommendations to the business in order to improve revenue generation and increase operational efficiency.
This analytically focused individual will have a key responsibility to drive and assist with our expansions and business development through reporting and analysis.
Key duties & responsibilities
Standardise weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to ensure we are proactively making business decisions based on easy to understand financial and data analysis
Prepare monthly commentary reports of actual vs budget (/forecast) and scenario planning
Analyse previous financial performance, prepare competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for relevant stakeholders (up to Board level)
Create financial models to predict growth and forecast performance
Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for areas of improvement that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
Develop and maintain sales pipeline reporting to help drive quicker closing of deals alongside the management team.
Support on Due Diligence on potential acquisition targets
Key Skills & Experience Required
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Strong Commercial drive and acumen
An understanding of financial forecasts and experience modelling these
Experience in a similar FP&A role
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience of working in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
Excellent communication skills
Location: Our head office is Manchester city centre (Ancoats) - we adopt a hybrid working model (3 days in the office per week)
Salary: £50k - £60k
