Blair West is working in partnership with the Inn Collection Group, as they look to expand their growing FP&A function with the appointment of a Financial Planning Analyst in a newly created role. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this is a strategically important appointment to help the business realise its data strategy as it goes through aggressive, acquisition-led growth.
The opportunity:- Understand and expand on the current Power BI suite, including improving Power BI reporting.
- Analysis and reporting of key business units directed by the Head of FP&A.
- Analysis and reporting of operational and financial KPIs.
- Ownership and operation of business forecasting and budgeting model, expanding scenario and sensitivity planning.
- Develop reports alongside Group Data Analysts to better utilise data to aid decision-making.
- Work with Group Data Analyst on data mining and model creation/maintenance.
- Production of scalable Power BI reports and data models tailored to business units and users.
- Plan vs actual variance analysis and reporting.
- PowerBi reporting and modelling experience.
- Advanced Excel knowledge; Power Query etc.
- Studying/part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Strong working knowledge of financial statements.
- Astute Commercial acumen/experience in a commercial environment.
- Working knowledge of Python/SQL, or a desire to learn.
- Analytical mindset and eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage own workload and work to a high standard.
- Study support for professional qualifications.
