Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading education institution as they seek to recruit a Financial Regulations Manager to join their team based on the outskirts of Cambridge.
This is a pivotal role that empowers the financial heartbeat of their institution. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Financial Regulations Manager to lead the charge in revolutionising and streamlining their Financial Regulations (FRs) and Policies & Procedures (P&Ps.)
This is a critical position within the financial operational, for the need for up-to-date and clear Financial Regulations.
As the Financial Regulations Manager, you will be tasked with the following set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Lead the charge in reshaping their FRs. You will work closely with various stakeholders to craft regulations that are not only legally sound but also written in a clear manor for easy understanding.
  • You will coordinate with different stakeholder groups, helping them draft mew regulations where needed, and ensuring that the FRs cater to the unique need for their diverse community.
  • You will work in tandem with their Policies & Procedures Editor to ensure that their P&Ps align seamlessly with the FRs.
  • Maje their FRs readily accessible in digital format is a priority. You’ll ensure that users can easily access the FRs online, complete with links to relevant P&Ps.
  • Collaboration with their training team, you will ensure that training materials and courses related to FRs are user-friendly and up-to-date.

As the Financial Regulations Manager, you are at the forefront of financial transformation within their institution. You will play a critical role in strategic development and operational updates, ensuring compliance with tax authorities, statutory returns, and funding bodies.
Hybrid working is on offer for this opportunity, this role offers an exciting and unique opportunity, and is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied, busy role. Located in Cambridge, there is on-site parking at the office for days where you are required to be in. 
As the successful candidate, you will ideally possess previous experience working in a similar role, as it is paramount that this person comes in and hits the ground running.
