About Our Client
I am currently working with a business in Manchester which is currently going through an exciting period of growth. They are looking to recruit a number 2 to the FD, who will be taking a lead on UK transformation. The business is a market leader within its sector and is looking to move into the international space, following successful transformation of the UK business. They have gone through a successful investment period and have a strong pipeline going into 2024. This is an exciting time to join the business. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious and looking to take on more responsibility over the next 12 months.
Job Description
- Leading the monthly production of financials and dashboards
- Managing the rolling forecast processes
- Gross margin analysis and control linked to billing process
- Mentoring the Management accountant to develop their capabilities
- Commercial finance partnering with the Sales team
- Collaborating with the Trading and Operations team to control margins
- Collaborating with Tech on automation and new system implementation
- Supporting the Group Finance Director to enable UK transformation and Global growth
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience with gross margin analysis and group consolidations. International reporting experience would be beneficial as well as some experience within the sector. Experience working in a fast paced SME environment would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
