Our client, a long established and successful FMCG business based in Durham, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be an experienced and detail-orientated Finance professional. Particularly well suited to someone who has recent experience in practice and is keen to work in industry. The role offers an opportunity to lead on the internal audit and UK Financial Reporting, with superb progression opportunity as part of the business' succession planning strategy.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Internal Audit Leadership
- Lead internal audits for UK operations and overseas facilities. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and identifying areas for improvement
- UK Financials
- Manage Financial Reporting for the business' Head Office accounts in the UK
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
- Overhead Management and Allocations
- Collaborate with divisional Managing Directors and Management Accountants to oversee UK overhead expenses
- Allocate costs appropriately and optimise resource utilisation
You will be/have:
- ACA qualified or equivalent
- Technically strong, knows what good looks like
- Confident communicator, capable of leading the process and implementing change
- 5-10 years PQE
