My client is seeking a dedicated Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support in the realm of financial planning and advice. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of business processes and client administration.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Send letters of authority and gather information from service & product providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Obtain illustrations, pre-populate application forms, and check new business documentation for accuracy.
- Process business applications efficiently, maintaining all supporting documentation as per company procedures.
- Liaise with service & product providers for timely and accurate client responses.
- Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings, ensuring all action points from client meetings are completed.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, manage incoming post, and maintain back-office systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within Financial Services.
- Familiarity with the Financial Services Acts, FCA Statements of Principles & Code of Practice, and FCA Conduct Rules.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in office software and back-office systems.
- Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ability to keep up to date with industry changes and maintain CPD requirements.
