They are now looking to expand our leadership team with a talented and experienced Financial Services Tax Partner; candidates currently working at Director level will be of particular interest.
The Role: As a Financial Services Tax Partner, you will play a critical role in the firm, leading the Financial Services Tax practice. You will be responsible for providing strategic tax advisory services to clients, managing a team of tax professionals, and driving business development initiatives. This is a client-facing role, where you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of Financial Services clients, including asset managers, and private equity firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Financial Services Tax practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax advisory services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice on complex tax issues.
- Drive business development efforts to grow the Financial Services Tax practice, including identifying new business opportunities and pitching for new work.
- Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments, ensuring clients receive the most current and relevant advice.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Currently at Director level in another professional services firm or working in-house with a desire to return to a client-facing role.
- CTA qualified with demonstrable post-qualified experience in Financial Services Tax.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK and international tax issues affecting Financial Services clients.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advisory services and building strong client relationships.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong business development and networking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
