Our client, who act to resolve financial disputes are looking to on-board a Finance Business Partner, pay £300 per day, start ASAP, duration 6 months with a possible extension, hours Mon-Fri 9-5, this is a hybrid/remote working role, and you will be required to work in the office 4 days over a fortnight. You will be put through a stringent vetting process prior to starting. The location of the client is Canary Wharf.
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll partner with one or more of the Executive team. In this role, you will provide great customer service to your customers, and show a commitment to cost control and delivering the very best value for money. You will also provide insight and analysis in supporting strategic objectives, financial management, performance insight and risks to deliver the service expectation of the departments under your remit.
Duties;
- Forming and maintaining effective working relationships with your senior stakeholders - you'll need to know when to challenge their ways of thinking to reach the best outcome
- Driving financial awareness across the organisation by building relationships and engaging key stakeholders in the process
- Being able to explain all of our finance policies and processes such as being able to explain in simple terms our cost approval process to your stakeholders
- Understand reasons for such variances, through your own investigations and via conversations with stakeholders to ascertain the drivers of any deviations from forecast
- Having the ability to drive decision making and introduce change while consulting stakeholders
- Knowing how to adapt your style for your audience and accurately reflecting different stakeholder styles
- Detailed and timely reporting and analysis for day-to-day management for your Executive partners. Thinking logically and making sure your analysis is backed up with facts and sound reasoning
- Being a qualified or newly accountant
- Demonstrable experience of influencing your stakeholder to work within financial controls and budgetary accountability
