Senior Finance Business Partner

A leading global scientific research organisation with an excellent reputation is currently seeking an interim Senior Finance Business Partner to join its Commercial Finance Team on a six-month contract paying a daily rate of circa £430. This exciting and highly varied role will be responsible for working closely with non-finance stakeholders including those specialising in research into mental health, and providing robust financial advice and support. The position should suit an energetic individual who is comfortable working with ambiguity.
It is a hybrid role, with two days per week expected in the impressive London offices.
As the Senior Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

• Working with other Business Partners to produce budgets and forecasts for different areas of the organisation
• Due diligence on grant funding applications from partner organisations
• Meeting with stakeholders to explain their numbers and influence the way they approach finance
• Month-end related finance duties
• Ad hoc financial modelling and analysis

The ideal Senior Finance Business Partner will:

• Be a qualified accountant, with significant post-qualification experience
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders
• Be comfortable working with ambiguity and having to constantly prioritise
• Be a team player with an interest in scientific research and/or mental health & wellbeing

This contract will run for an initial six months, with the potential for extension. There are other great benefits to go with the day rate, including a free onsite gym and free lunch for all staff.
