Your Opportunity:
The FSS Team Member will work across our payroll and credit control teams ensuring payroll and billing is delivered accurately and efficiently, adhering to payroll deadlines & legislation, and delivering a high level of data accuracy. They will also play a vital role in cash collection activities, contributing to the financial health of the organisation. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual interested in working in a unique, fast paced environment with opportunities for personal development and growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions for agency staff across multiple sites (UK & ROI).
- Processing holiday pay and tracking accruals
- Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Manage the billing process from invoice generation to delivery.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate billing information.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries promptly.
- Implement effective cash collection strategies to optimise receivables.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring timely payments.
- Engage with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate terms when necessary.
Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.
- Demonstratable experience using MS Office, especially Excel
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- An organised, systematic approach to deliver results to deadlines and under pressure.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of Pay & Bill Software.
- Experience of timesheet administration and payroll processing.
- Use of computerised Finance Systems.
