The role – Financial Transactions Officer

As Financial Transactions Officer you will work across all the financial transaction functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash book postings, credit card processing.  

    What you’ll do

    You will

     

    • Process payments and invoices against purchase orders accurately and timely as per company procedures.
    • Dispatch remittance advices for payments.
    • Deal with accounts payable and receivable queries from internal and external customers to ensure quick resolution.
    • Process BACS and cheque payment requests.
    • Import data into Finance system (SUN) from Housing Management system resolving any coding issues where necessary.

    Skills and experience we'd like you to have

    We’re looking for someone who:

    • Is part qualified AAT or studying towards this.
    • Has previous accounting administration experience
    • Has proven working experience of accounts payable, receivable, cashbook and reconciliation.
    • Has previous experience of financial systems – SUN, Q&A and Proactis
