Fire Alarm Support Engineer or Access Control Engineer - Are you fed up with installing or working on the same old safety systems? BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:Fire Alarm Support Engineer

As our Fire Alarm Support Engineer, you’ll provide telephone support on all things concerning wireless Fire Alarms. You’ll act as a key contact and escalation point for our premium commercial wireless customers, providing the very highest levels of service and issue resolution.

You’ll be responsible for responding to support requests, maintaining the ticket management, quality assurance and continuous improvement of products and projects.
You’ll be responsible for:

· Assisting the business customers service tickets.
· Creating and maintaining product documents, troubleshooting, customer engagement processes.
· Working with our group businesses and suppliers for wireless support.
· Proposing and leading improvements to SLA with key customers.

This is role will be based in our UK support facility, in Southern Birmingham with excellent transport links to the M6 and M1 motorways.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:Fire Alarm Support Engineer

We would welcome applications from either experienced Fire Alarm Engineers, or if you’re time served in access controls, CCTV or building security systems.

You may have experience of installing or supporting:
· Fire Alarms, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Wired or Wireless.
· Battery powered knowledge.
· Experience with alarm systems, fire safety.
· Sound knowledge of BS5839.

It goes without saying you’ll need to be friendly and professional, willing to work as part of a small team, and flexible to the demands of a growing business.
