Manpower is representing an experienced fire safety company based in the south east. Our client have a current requirement for a Small Works Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. Their company specialises in the installation and maintenance of Life Safety Systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of BS5839. Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right individual. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is eager to develop their skills and technical knowledge.
Location: Although our company is based in Strood, Kent, this role will be field-based primarily in London and The Home Counties. Occasional travel beyond these areas may be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Fire Alarm Remedial Work (installing additional devices, replacing faulty devices, etc.)
- Servicing & maintenance of all types of Fire Alarm Systems
- Reactive call outs
- Basic Commissioning
