SalaryWe are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in the North West, who are recruiting for a Fire Compliance Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client has over 8,000 homes where they help their customers live, grow and thrive.
This is a full-time position with a salary of £40,221 per year and this role is due to start as soon as possible. (There are interim options available)
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Directly manage a range of contractors to ensure that all the organisations legal compliance requirements
- Delivering the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021
- Taking the lead on fire safety and acting as the first point of contact for all fire safety queries for tenants and colleagues
- Carrying out Fire risk assessments and writing up of the subsequent reports
- Working collaboratively with government and internal/ external partners
- Taking the lead on any actions relating to High-Rise safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Social Housing experience ideal
- Previous experience carrying out fire risk assessments
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of the new building safety regime
- Experience of working in a supervisory role
