For this role, security clearance to a high government level will be required which must be maintained throughout the term of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and professionally carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Activities of the Fire and Life Safety Systems
- To be responsible and monitor all Fire and Life Safety Systems with expected 1st response
- To ensure all reactive works are carried out in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety
- Ensure to show entrepreneurship by taking corrective action where necessary
- Have full knowledge of work areas and follow schedules as required
- Demonstrate full working knowledge of all relevant equipment and materials
- Co-operate with requests from client and managers, giving assistance where necessary
- Highlight any facilities-related issues to line management and/or service desk, ensuring the customer’s work environment and experience is always at the forefront of our daily activity
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- In country Qualified Fire and Life Safety Technician
- In-country Licensed Fire and Life Safety Technician
- Security clearance to a high government level will be required
- Significant experience in providing Fire and Life Safety building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection
- Fire and Life Safety expert across a range of different products and manufacturers
- Proven experience within a similar role or environment High Level of knowledge of relevant Fire standards
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to resolve by elimination or technical recommendations
- Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
