THE ROLE
- Install and commission fire and security systems.
- Conduct planned maintenance, including repairs, fault-finding, and installation tasks.
- Maintain accurate and high-standard company documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication.
- Perform surveys on client premises to ensure optimal system configurations.
- Respond to reactive calls for fault-finding and repairs, including on-call rota duties.
- Utilize system software for estimating minor follow-on works.
- Provide Fire Alarm System Certification for Customers.
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm maintenance and small works.
- Comprehensive experience in all aspects of the fire alarm industry, including Design/Installation and Commission.
- Proficiency in servicing both open and managed protocol fire alarm systems.
- Certification in FIA for various aspects of fire detection and alarm system processes.
- Conversant with BAFE and SSAIB/NSI requirements.
- ECS/CSCS certification with a good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Positive security screening and clean disclosure report.
- Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, and customer service focus.
- Sound electrical/electronic knowledge.
- Willingness to travel.
- Full, valid driving licence.
