Fire stopping engineer

We are a leading fire safety and protection company seeking an experienced and qualified fire stopper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Fire stopping systems in Hospitals, commercial and Residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install Fire stopping systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Inspect and maintain existing Fire stopping systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Repair and replace damaged or worn Fire stopping systems
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all work completed on bolster

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire stopping installation and maintenance
• Valid certification or training in Fire stopping systems
• NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire protection (Preferred)
• IPAF 3A / 3B (Preferred)
• BM Trada (Preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to fire safety
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
