Field Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as the Head of Field Services. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the success of our field operations, ensuring top-notch service delivery, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Core responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimise field and logistics operations, focusing on efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team of in-house staff, contractors, and suppliers. Manage workload, resources, and overall demand on labour.

Service Excellence: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, review project scopes, and monitor costs and profitability.

Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, driving continuous improvement activities.

Process Optimisation: Oversee and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and meet organisational objectives.

Communication Skills: Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for customers, Field Services, and internal departments, fostering effective communication.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within Field Services, with a track record of achieving goals and driving operational excellence.
• Strong people management skills, including recruitment, training, and development of teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make informed decisions and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and service delivery processes.
• Technical understanding & knowledge for the following equipment, but not limited; EPOS equipment, Server, PC Laptop, Printers & Networking
• Working knowledge of ITSM tool sets
