Embedded Software Engineer - Aerospace Technology

Overview: I'm in need of an Embedded Software Engineer experienced in aerospace technology to develop and validate embedded software compliant with DO-178C standards, focusing on SafeRTOS. Your role as a contractor involves being the main person responsible for a certain aspect of the System Development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate embedded software for aerospace applications, emphasizing SafeRTOS and DO-178C compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and verify software for safety-critical aerospace systems.
• Ensure adherence to DO-178C guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and document software design, specifications, and validation procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in embedded software development for aerospace, DO-178C, and SafeRTOS.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and strong understanding of safety-critical design.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with aerospace system development tools and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of formal methods for software verification and fault tolerance concepts.
• Passion for developing reliable, safe, and high-performance aerospace software.
