First-Line Helpdesk Support
Location: Office Based Role in MediaCity, Salford Quays, Manchester
Hours: Mon to Thurs: 9.00am/9.30am - 5.30pm/6.00pm,
Fri: 9.30am - 5.30pm
Salary: £21k - £24k (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Assist users with password resets, account setups, and basic software installations.
- Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Follow up with users to ensure their technical issues are resolved satisfactorily.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify trends and improve support processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux) and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) is a plus.
