The company has vacancies for an IT Apprentice and candidates who have previous experience working as an IT Technician / Helpdesk Support Engineer / ServiceDesk Analyst providing technical support to a wide range of clients.
SALARY: £16,507 - £27,709 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Based at our offices in Burnley with flexitime and opportunities for hybrid working. Candidates must live within an easy commute to Burnley.

•NVQ Level 3 in Computing
•This will involve day release for 2 academic years at Burnley College or other suitable provider
JOB OVERVIEW
We have fantastic new job opportunities for an IT Apprentice and an experienced IT Technician / Helpdesk Support Engineer / ServiceDesk Analyst to join a friendly and knowledgeable IT Technical Support Team who support and deliver services to over 200 businesses, typically based in the North West.
As the IT Apprentice and IT Technician / Helpdesk Support Engineer / ServiceDesk Analyst you will provide remote Helpdesk Support, based on your level of experience, to clients using the latest PSA technology, ensuring all help desk tickets are updated, resolved or escalated when required.
As the IT Apprentice and IT Technician / Helpdesk Support Engineer / ServiceDesk Analyst you will also be involved in additional proactive work and a range of IT projects depending on your experience. There is also a requirement to work at our client’s premises on occasions.
DUTIES
Your duties as the IT Apprentice and IT Technician / Helpdesk Support Engineer / ServiceDesk Analyst will include the following, depending on your level of experience:
•Provide efficient and timely remote technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
•On occasion conduct onsite visits to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
•Collaborate with the IT Team to troubleshoot complex technical issues and escalate as necessary
•Ensure accurate documentation of all support interactions, resolutions, and hardware / software configurations are updated on the system
•Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance technical skills and knowledge
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experienced Candidates:
•Proven experience as an IT Technical Support Helpdesk Engineer or similar role
•Solid knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking
•Experience in remote support tools and techniques
•Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
•Strong organisational and time-management skills
•Flexibility to travel for onsite visits as needed
•Microsoft Certified applicants are particularly welcome
Apprenticeship Candidates:
•Apprenticeship applicants will need 5 GCSE’s with a grade C / 4 (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English
•You will need to have a genuine interest and aptitude with computers is essential
•Willing to study and complete the apprenticeship whilst working
