Salary Job Title: Senior IT Support Technician
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 PLUS 31 Days Holiday (Plus BH), Private Healthcare, Local Government Pension, Electric Vehicle Scheme, Certification / Qualifications (Paid)
We are currently looking for a technical Senior IT Support Technician to join a well established, Private Education Trust based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot problems, and maintain a high level of service throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, via both onsite and remote support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Provide training and technical advice to customers and end-users
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Monitor system performance and ensure system security
- Participate in the implementation of new systems and technologies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience within the Education Sector is preferred
- Technical Knowledge of Windows Server, Networking, and Virtualization Technologies such as Hyper-V or VMWare
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and other cloud technologies
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
