Job Title: First Team Physiotherapist (Manual Therapy & Injury Prevention)

Salary: Dependant on skills & experience. To include accommodation/relocation allowance for those based outside of Sussex

Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Hours: Full-time, to follow men's First Team schedule

Job Type: Permanent

Deadline Day: 28th February 2024

Start date: We are looking for this role to begin at the start of the 24/25 season, from 1st July 2024 (subject to satisfactory employment vetting and safer recruitment checks).

Contribute to the success of the club both on and off the pitch

You will work closely with the wider medical team to provide an elite physiotherapy service for our First Team squad, utilising strong manual skills and ensuring effective management of all players with regards to their medical needs. You will work hard, but the great thing about football is that you will see the results. You will educate our players on the importance of recovery and will work closely with the performance coaches to deliver recovery and Injury Prevention strategies immediately after training and on recovery days.

Due to the nature of the role, we will require you to be flexible, as there will be requirement to work weekends and bank holidays as well as both home and away matches.

Your physiotherapist background

This is an important role at the club, so it is essential that the post holder holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree or equivalent, is a qualified membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC), have or working towards a relevant MSc in Sports Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation or Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Your career history will include working within a professional sporting environment and extensive experience in a provision of physiotherapy.
