Fitters - Mechanical and Electrical

Immediate permanent opportunities for Electrical or Mechanical Fitters looking for a new role within in a great environment. Our client is paying up to £28,000 per annum. Working as part of a team, you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge whilst carrying out testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical or mechanical equipment.

What you will be doing:

• Construction of electrical or mechanical systems and equipment to engineering drawings
• Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide
• Working as part of an electrical or mechanical team on niche projects and as part of either the electrical or mechanical team
• Adhere to the company’s policies and procedures
• Ensuring that quality standards are met

What you will need to succeed:

• City and Guilds qualification in engineering discipline / apprenticeship trained is preferred
• Hands-on experience of electrical or mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
• Fault finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• A strong work ethic
