We have a great opportunity for a Fleet Administrator to join the Fleet Management Team. You will provide administrative support to the team and wider teams across the business. You will ensure that the asset database in
maintained, customer requests are processed within agreed timescales, vehicles are scheduled for maintenance and vehicle orders and disposals are processed. The role is varied and integral to an efficient operation and gives support to the teams in their achievement of regulatory, financial, customer and key business performance targets.
Accountabilities
You'll be responsible for all administration in relation to the ownership & hire of vehicles, including updating Tranman and maintaining the fuel card system & ordering new vehicle fuel cards as well as scheduling vehicles for maintenance. You'll also be responsible for:
Administering the vehicle operator license on behalf of UU.
Providing support on insurance administration and resolving disputes.
Payment processing of all external invoices, ordering new vehicles and monitoring, reporting and billing of work.
Supporting the wider team, including providing reports and supplementary information.
Providing administration to support the company's occupational road risk procedure, such as employee license checks.
Knowledge and Skills
To be considered for this role you will have relevant work experience or qualifications as well as the ability to multi task. You'll be highly organised, self-driven with accomplished interpersonal skills. You will also have:
Strong IT literacy, planning and prioritising skills.
Ability to analyse and present information
Take initiative, be pro-active
Ability to deal directly with external and internal customers and suppliers.
Previous fleet/transport administration experience
Experience in the use of a fleet management database
