The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective management of the vehicle workshop including workshop performance and expenditure monitoring, statistic reporting for KPI’s, Health and Safety system management and development.
Key Requirements:
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a motor vehicle workshop
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in a vehicle workshop.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of vehicles.
Basic knowledge of the Goods Vehicle Operators Licence requirements.
Full Category B driving licence.
Hours
37 hours per week
The council operates hybrid working. This involves working from an agreed workplace location in the borough for at least two days a week.
