We are currently seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join our client's team based in Lichfield
As an FLT Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the warehouse and maintaining efficient distribution of goods. This is a temporary position offering full-time hours.
Responsibilities:
- Operating FLT vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Conducting daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on the FLT equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
- Monitoring inventory and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties when required, such as picking and packing orders.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid FLT licence is essential. REACH AND COUNTERBALANCE
- Proven experience operating FLT vehicles in a warehouse or distribution centre setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
