One of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are now looking for a Principal level Engineer to join their expert central technical team responsible for setting engineering standards across their portfolio of UK&I Accounts.

These standards will be observed by 1000s of engineers across different disciplines on customer sites from Data Centres to Retail. The employer are a world famous brand in the sector with north of 30,000 staff in the UK.

Here in this team, you will adopt a leadership level role, line managing two Technical Specialists while assuming a strategic responsibility across Engineering Strategy, working closely with a myriad of internal and external stakeholders.

This is fantastic role for a Mechanically biased Lead Engineer with robust leadership abilities, looking to further advance their career within a highly specialised, high profile position within a global organisation

Actions will include:

• Drive excellence in our working practices with regards Safe Systems of Work and Engineering Standards, embedding these across the business.
• Provide technical leadership to teams as required and act as a senior SME (Subject Matter Expert) for mechanical building services systems.
• Drive a professional and safety-orientated culture throughout our business through inspired leadership, passion and expertise.
• Utilise broader skillset to lead on business initiatives, products and projects to enhance the function business unit

We need from you:

• A strong level of Mechanical qualification, clear experience on a specialised technical roles(s) with proven leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £75,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
