Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service in our bar and restaurant areas and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation areas
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, and other equipment for events or functions
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food and beverage items
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow all food safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
