An opportunity has arisen for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club in the heart of Sussex. This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated professional team within food and beverage at this award winning hotel and be part of the senior leadership team. Training is second to none, with Investor in People accreditation and a training and personal development department to support you and the team.
This is a Senior Management role to oversee the food and beverage operation which includes the award winning 2 Rosette Anderida Restaurant, stylish Forest Brasserie, Bars, Lounges & Terrace plus multiple Conference & Banqueting suites. You will need a proven track record in leading a large team of department managers and wider with respect and operational understanding. You will need a passion for Food & Beverage, and with the General Manager and Executive Chef help develop our service and offering to ensure we deliver a distinctly memorable experience to our guests.
As Food and Beverage Manager your Key responsibilities will include:
- Mentoring and supporting your heads of department.
- Motivating a large team of professionals.
- Communicating with the restaurant, kitchen and other departments to ensure standards are met.
- Be well organised and an excellent communicator.
- Have knowledge of stock taking and financial awareness.
- Be a team player with a resilient and confident personality.
- Have proven experience as a head of department within a food and beverage department or a similar size high-quality establishment.
- Has a ‘can do’ attitude, attention to detail and be able to use their own imitative.
- The role invlolves carrying out duty management shifts.
