Food & Beverage Manager

We are recruiting an experienced FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER based at our iconic 19th-century converted Jute Mills, INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL GROUP branded properties, Hotel Indigo, and The Staybridge Suites in the centre of Dundee.
These IHG properties comprise of 102 locality-inspired bespoke bedrooms, 85 long-stay suites, and our much-talked-about Daisy Tasker Restaurant. We raise a toast in celebration of Scotland’s cuisine, community, and heritage.
We are now in the process of a full ground floor refurbishment which will see a new destination bar and lounge to compliment the already fabulous food and beverage we have to offer, delivered to our guests by our dedicated team with the best of service.
What will I be doing?
The FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER will oversee the overall operational management of the front-of-house restaurant and newly developed bar operations including cost control, productivity, and team training.
Create menus in partnership with the Head Chef that are aligned with our internal & external guest expectations.
Develop and foster positive relations through proactive interaction with Guests, Team Members, contractors, and suppliers.
Regularly review and engineer our offerings to keep up with current market and regional trends.
You will be fully responsible for developing the F&B reputation of the hotel through exceptional service delivery and product enhancement.
Drive efficient procurement of stock and effective control of F&B assets.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a senior operational F&B role in a high-volume high-quality environment.
Excellent knowledge of current trends with the drive to constantly improve.
The ability to create ideas that are both imaginative and profitable.
Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Be articulate and commercially focused.
Proven track record of managing a Food & Beverage team.
Understand operating systems and support programs like Excel workbooks.
Hands-on, committed, and passionate about hospitality and customer service with the ability to demonstrate leadership skills.
