Hours: Working at our Property Antony between March and the end of October. Typical shift between 10am-5pm (no split shifts or evening work). Working days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. To include Sundays during the months of June, July and August. in the event of a Bank holiday working is required on both the Sunday and Monday. During the months of November- February there may be opportunity to work at our partner property Cotehele. Due to the location of this property please consider how you would travel here, driving or a reliable lift is essential.
This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year
Salary: £11 per hour
Duration: Permanent

What you'll be doing As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the café. This is a busy, lively place to work, so you’ll need to be adaptable.
Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service.
Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate, and that the food is looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
You’ll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that’s dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember.
We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
