Amadeus, multi award winning caterers, are a division of the NEC Group operating at venues and events in Birmingham and beyond including the NEC, the ICC, Resorts World Arena, the VOX and Arena Birmingham.

We have great opportunities available to join the team at The UAB as a Food Preparation Assistant.

We are looking for reliable, committed individuals to join our team on a casual basis. Hours will include bank holidays and weekends.

Previous experience is an advantage, but full training will be given.

Please Note:

  • Shifts that will be offered at The UAB will be between the hours of 8am and 10pm (08:00-22:00).
  • Applicants must be over 17 years old.
  • Please note, this role will require you to work around and with alcohol. This may mean you will be serving alcohol and or pouring alcoholic beverages for our customers.

  • Preparation of sandwiches, baguettes and salads
  • Preparation of hot food items
  • Preparation of fine dining menus
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety legislation

Hours can vary each week dependent on business levels so whether you have plenty of free time in your schedule or you can only manage the odd shift we’d love to hear from you.
