Food Production Operative

Prima Cheese is a multi-award-winning cheese processing company with a 28-year heritage. It is one of the biggest cheese suppliers of foodservice and food manufacturing within the UK and exports their product to over 55 countries worldwide. With both domestic and international business, the company continues to grow and is looking to expand their team within their newly opened London office.

We have an exciting opportunity in our busy Production department. Prima Cheese offers strong development opportunities for a motivated employees within a growing company and industry.

Reporting to the Production Management team, your duties include but are not limited to:

• Understanding production processes and blend mixes
• Following hygiene procedures and clean as you go policies
• Ensuring you take care of your own health and safety and others around you
• Ensuring good communication with your colleagues on hand overs and also general information what’s gone on throughout your shift
• Understanding run rates and all KPI's the business has set
• Working as part of a team being flexible and adapting to change
• Following 5s standards at all times

Working Hours - 40 hours per week (breaks are 30 mins paid break per day)

*This is on a 2 week rolling shift pattern

Week 1

Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 15:00

Week 2

Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 23:00

OR

Permanent Night Shift working from 23:00 until 07:00

(this includes an 8% shift allowance for night shift)
