Food Safety & Compliance Lead - Food Manufacturing Business
Location: Merseyside
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 + pension & bonus
Role Overview: Reporting to the Quality Manager and with one direct report you will be responsible for site HACCP plans & Food Safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support where required with investigations and improvements in relation to Food Safety.
- Quality & Food Safety representative for, site processes and equipment introduction/changes to ensure quality requirements are addressed.
- Ensuring the HACCP system is adhered to and managing site audit schedules to ensure compliance.
- Working closely with the technical team and other departments on site.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 preferred but not essential.
- Proven track record in quality in UK food manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience of BRC standards and audits.
- A strong QA background.
