Food Safety & Quality Systems Specialist

Supporting food manufacturers and retailers with product innovation including: rheology, new product development, value optimisation, instructional development, pilot plant, quality and Food Safety manufacturing, thermal processing, new technologies, and regulatory affairs.

Campden BRI provide global consultancy services for global Food Safety and quality. Our team of specialists ensure that products are safe and fit for purpose. Food quality management uses tools, such as HACCP and auditing, to describe processes, analyse what could go wrong, put procedures in place to prevent things going wrong, check the systems are working, and identify actions to take if things do go wrong.

• You will help to manage and deliver scientific and technical projects (training, consultancy, and research) giving high quality and cost-effective solutions to our clients both internal and external. Including delivery of training courses - both on-site at Campden BRI and off-site at client premises.
• You will focus mainly on Food Safety level 2,HACCP Level 2 and several short/ bespoke courses.
• Answering technical enquiries on food hygiene topics.

• Food Science/Technology degree or equivalent
• Technical knowledge of the food industry (science and technology) (12 months+ considered)
  
• Experience in a technical or quality management role within food manufacturing or in food legislation enforcement
• Practical experience of at least one industrial Food Safety management standard would be an advantage
• Formal qualification in HACCP, Level 2 would be expected to fulfil the job requirements
• Good verbal and broader communication skills to support business development, training, and consultancy offerings
• Full UK/EU driving licence and ability to travel globally

• All travel will be paid for and there will be factory trials & consultany that could involve overnight and international travel
