There is now a great opportunity for a passionate Food Saftey professional seeking to apply their knowledge in a varied and interesting role.
The role would suit someone with experience in a Food Safety, Quality or Technical role within the Food process, manufacturing / Production or similar sector. Day to day you will spearhead improvements across internal procedures and be quick to respond and react to any safety issues. You will impart knowledge across customers and suppliers - audit experience is key for this role.

THE ROLE:

* Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and customers as required to ensure that legislative and customer requirements are met
*Develop and communicate a Food Safety culture within the business
*Reactive across new legislation and Food Safety & Implementing change across internal procedures
*HACCP team leader
*Internal audit leader
*Manage customer complaint investigations mock & arrange traceability and recall tests with suppliers
*Home /office based with some travel to offices & manufacturing sites
THE PERSON:

*Audit experience
*Experience in a Food Safety, Technical, Quality, or similar role
*Food industry background (Manufacturing/Production)
*Passionate about the industry & keeping up to date on legislation (UK/EU)
*Able to be a brand ambassador
