About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health & Wellbeing Coach to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of nutrition, dietetics, and behaviour change methodologies to effectively support individuals and families in achieving their health and wellbeing goals. If you have a background in healthcare and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver Personalized Coaching: Provide one-on-one and group-based coaching sessions, delivering evidence-based dietary and behaviour change advice.
Support Participant Goals: Empower participants to set and achieve personalised health and wellbeing goals, utilising tech-enabled support and community resources.
Facilitate Lifestyle Changes: Guide participants through lifestyle behaviour changes to promote physical activity, healthy eating, and weight management.
Conduct Assessments: Support the triage and assessment process, ensuring each participant receives tailored and appropriate advice.
Utilise Motivational Techniques: Apply motivational interviewing and goal-setting techniques to help participants overcome barriers and sustain behavior changes.
Engage in Community Outreach: Participate in community engagement activities, including NHS Health Checks, stakeholder events, and pop-up health sessions.
Maintain High Standards: Ensure all coaching services are delivered in line with quality standards, national guidelines, and within professional competencies.
Data Management: Accurately report and collect data to manage caseloads effectively, ensuring seamless service delivery and outcome tracking.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work with team members to develop and implement innovative approaches to health coaching and participant engagement.
What You Will Need
Experience: AFN registered degree in Nutrition or HCPC registered degree in Dietetics, with evidence of continuous professional development.
Expertise: Experience delivering group-based behaviour change interventions and managing caseloads.
Skills: Proficiency in using Case Management Systems, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual participant needs.
Passion: A dynamic and highly motivated individual with a creative mindset and a strong understanding of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
