Forensic Quality Services Assistant, Grade E -(Salary - £25,713 - £29,874) - Permanent, Full-time

About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant within the Quality Services Unit to support the wider Forensics Department.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support with the implementation and maintenance of Quality Standards ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025 together with the FSR Codes of Practice and Conduct primarily across the Forensics Department to ensure compliance with the Forensic Science Regulator’s statement of requirements.
For this role, you will work as part of a small friendly team in producing a high-quality service, therefore, the successful candidate will require a collaborative and flexible approach.
We are looking for someone who has administrative experience with the ability to pro-actively manage administration processes. You must also be able to demonstrate your experience of working to deadlines, with the ability to prioritise your own time and workload, working methodically and accurately. Good communication skills are also essential for this role as you will act as first point of contact for the team.
A basic understanding of forensic science, the administration of a Quality Management System, FSR Codes of Practice and ISO standards is desirable, however, full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
