Forklift Driver - Builders Merchants

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative & Forklift Driver from a Builders Merchant background to join their busy client in Cricklewood.

Salary: £24.5k

Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30 & alternate Saturdays 08:00 to 12:00

This job involves:

• operating a counterbalance forklift and bendi forklift
• picking orders
• loading and unloading customer vehicles and company vehicles
• keeping the yard area safe and tidy
• helping customers in the yard
• assisting trade counter team as and when needed

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

• counterbalance and bendi (pivot steer) experience - preferred but not essential
• come from a builders merchant background
• physically fit
• the ability to work as part of a team and individually
• happy to work outside and indoors
• a good level of English speaking, reading and writing
• looking to settle into a permanent full-time position
