Job Title: Counterbalance Driver

Location: Corby, UK

Salary: £12.25 per hour

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Duration: Minimum 6-month contract

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to secure a stable position with a reputable company. The role involves a variety of tasks to support our client's logistics and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods.
• Booking in Deliveries: Accurately book in deliveries, ensuring all documentation is completed and systems are updated.
• Wrapping and Labelling: Wrap and label products as required, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and identified.
• Stock Management: Assist with the organisation and maintenance of stock within the warehouse.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• General Warehouse Duties: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the facility.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance License: Must have a valid, in-date counterbalance forklift license.
• Experience: Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in booking, wrapping, and labelling.
• Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to the full duration of the contract.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual handling tasks and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments.
