SalaryRecruiting for a Forklift Driver in Ballynahinch Road, BT309HS. This is a permanent role with my client who is a wooden edging specialist. Paying up to £25k. Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm. Must have a Valid forklift license.
Wrapping pallets, checking goods in, breaking pallets, picking orders, loading and unloading deliveries, making transportation notes, forklifting duties, have previous experience working within a warehouse, physically fit as the role involves Manual handling, work well in a team, A ’can do’ attitude and solution oriented mindset, Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, Ability to work on own initiative and also as a key team member, Ability to multitask prioritise and organise workload, Reliability and dependability, managing stock, handling petty cash, general warehousing work.
- Preparation of jobs and equipment within the warehouse
- Ensure all stock controls are up to date.
- Prepare all goods for dispatch.
- Load and unload a diverse range of client assets.
- Ensure all goods are stored safely within the warehouse.
- General housekeeping within the warehouse
- Operating Reach truck and picking truck
- Using numerous cloud-based IT platforms to communicate within departments and clients.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
This is for a small local company who is constantly growing. The last Forklift driver I placed in here 5 months ago has already been promoted to a supervisor. Lots of room for progression for the rite person.
