A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Fostering Team.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £47,420, based around Swindon.
Within this role there are lots of opportunities to build meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.

Responsibilities for you as a Fostering Social Worker:

• Practice in-line with legal requirements


• Carry out one-to-one supervision once a month with allocate staff


• Write reports for court hearings and present evidence in court


• Manage an allocated caseload


• Recognise, monitor and assess risk when working with families

Requirements for you as a Fostering Social Worker:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work


• Social Work England Registration


• Post qualifying experience working with Looked After Children or Care Experienced Young People.


• Must hold a full UK driving licence


• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations

Location: Swindon

Salary scale: £45,420 - £47,420 (Depending on Experience) + Benefits
