Blair West is working alongside a well-established Group in Stockton, as they look to add an FP&A Manager to their Strategic Finance team, in a hugely commercial role.
The opportunity:- Lead the financial planning process as the owner of the financial planning model, actively developing said model.
- Lead the provision of financial modelling and reporting support to teams across the business, creating and implementing new models where appropriate.
- Co-ordinate the delivery of the financial plan and support the delivery of the annual budget - driving continuous improvement in forecasting and budget modelling.
- Co-ordinate robust stress testing of the financial plan, including identification and testing of potential mitigations, and devising a mitigation action plan.
- Co-ordinate production and reconciliation of the annual Finance Forecast Return to the regulator.
- Produce and develop reports and presentations for the leadership team, Committees and Board.
- Analyse financial data including trend analysis, benchmarking, statistical returns and performance reporting to provide financial insights and make recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and continually improve the delivery of treasury management services including cash flow forecasting, investments, loan monitoring and compliance and security charging, release and revaluation.
- Support the review of financial policies and strategies including but not limited to the Treasury Policy, Investment Policy, and Treasury Strategy.
- Support with fundraising and security charging exercises, as well as ongoing lender/stakeholder relationship management and annual credit rating review.
- Providing support in the delivery of ad-hoc projects to drive strategic outcomes.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience in a commercial finance role.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- The ability to present reports and findings to the board level.
- Experience in financial modelling.
