Fp&A Analyst

NXTGEN has a fantastic opportunity for a FP&A Analyst to join a market-leading business based in Kings Lynn on a 12 month FTC. The FP&A Analyst role is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has strong business partnering skills along with Commercial experience gained in previous roles. The core focus of the FP&A Analyst will be to support the senior leadership team to understand their annual cost base and develop future plans. This position is well suited to those who are looking to gain exposure to a wide range of financial and analytical tasks.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Support the delivery of actual and forecast reviews on a monthly basis at group level
• Provide financial planning and analysis business partnering
• Support the FP&A manager prepare business reporting submissions
• Provide insight on spend across the business
• Support budget development and monitor spend across the company
• Ensure appropriate plans, systems and processes are in place to capture meaningful variance analysis compared to budgets and re-forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis.

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT Qualified or studying towards or qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with prior experience in a reporting and analysis role. Any previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential. The role would require you to be well organised and manage your own workload but also work across a large finance team. It is expected that the successful candidate will have strong IT and Excel skills along with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and management. Additionally, you will be required to work to tight deadlines and under pressure when needed.
