The FP&A Manager will act as a business partner to the commercial function with pricing for ad hoc customer requests and to support the finance team on larger scale tenders. Description
- Leading the financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across the business
- Provide insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends
- Work with the business to improve performance, minimise risk and capture new opportunities (internal & external)
- Ownership of performance management for the business, including identifying and reporting KPIs (alongside data team) which links to company strategy and drive positive actions
- Prepare financial forecasts, including the weekly flash forecast, budget and 5-year plan
- Develop the Risks & Opportunities tracker allowing agile forecasting based on scenario planning
- Function as a role model for the companies values and behaviours and provide leadership that enhances the reputation of the Finance community
- Manage own priorities and ensure sufficient time dedicated to strategy and proactive identification of opportunities
- Support the commercial function with pricing queries, bid and tender financial support.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (or by experience)
- Proven record in managing and sustaining effective relationships at a senior level
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the strategic drivers of success
- Highly proactive, resilient and results driven
- Well-developed analytical skills combined with the ability to present detailed information clearly and succinctly
- Experience of preparing detailed forecasts and budgets
- Advanced Excel skills including Lookup tables, 'if' statements, graph manipulation
- Able to translate and effectively communicate complex detail into clear, concise board level communication.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum plus package
