Consumer Additions are currently partnering with a premium fashion brand who are looking for an Interim FP&A Analyst on a 12-month FTC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute in driving the total Retail sales by providing sales updates and analysis
- Analysis of retailer performance through financial KPI’s/ratios
- Support the Buying department with financial analyses as needed
- Supports the wholesale team in understanding financial performance against targets and profitability of key customers
- Supports retail operations team in reviewing and maintaining leases, cost/benefit analysis, what-if analysis, and understanding causes of financial statement variances to budget and prior years
- Sales, discount and margin analysis per sales channel – stores, outlets and e-commerce
- Weekly Retail Sales Report – Retail KPI’s on a daily and weekly basis
- Assists Head of Business Control in Monthly Sales Flash with Retail sales and analysis
- Monthly P&L reporting for all stores / Retail to CFO
- Margin analysis on a monthly basis including analysis of discount for all sales channels
- Stock analysis on a monthly basis – stock management
- Supports Head of Business Control / CFO with Budget and Forecast process for the full P&L’s of UK and Ireland
- Support Marketing team with budget management
- Very close cooperation with Head of Business Control and Nordics Business Controller
- Close contact with retail management and retail operations to secure efficient collaboration
- Marketing: budget and cost follow up, ROI calculations
- Works with a broad interface against all functions in the organization, especially Retail stores
Key Requirements:
- Academic background within Accounting or Finance
- Ideally 3 years work experience from business controlling, preferably within retail / multi-site business
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel
- Strong system knowledge SAP, Qlikview, QlikSense, HFM, Tagetik is beneficial
- Organized and detail oriented
- Interested in understanding a retail business, what drives it and take part in developing it
- Analytical, organized and pays attention to detail; able to switch between detail and big picture
- A great team-player who is passionate about being a part of a fast-moving and dynamic retail company
- Interpersonal skills for multi department cross collaboration
- Fluent oral and written English skills
