About you:?
Do you follow the food and drinks scene in your city? Have a talented way with words? Consider yourself a creative writer? Then we at Dish Cult want to hear from you! We're looking for a new Freelance Content Writer in London to join our ranks. You'll be helping us create a range of must-read foodie guides as part of our campaign strategy that will inspire our diners to book tables through our website and app. We want someone with real expert knowledge of their city that possesses the ability to produce engaging copy and has an eye for hunger inducing imagery!
Dish Cult is an exciting offering in the food and beverage digital space, publishing guides, news stories and spotlight pieces with an aim to direct diners towards making bookings (powered by ResDiary).
Day-to-day, you will:?
• Staying up to date with the hospitality scene in your city and food & drink trends
• Following editorial briefs to research and write engaging content that drives bookings
• Writing engaging copy in-line with Dish Cult's tone of voice
• Creating approx. 4-5 articles per month in line with our campaigns
• Sourcing high-quality food images to be included in your articles
• Pitching new ideas for articles
• Working independently while maintaining open lines of communication
Your skills and experiences might also include:??
• Exceptional content writing skills with perfect grammar and spelling; experienced in SEO and keyword research.
• Meticulous attention to detail, thorough in research and fact-checking, and reliable with deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, including confidence in engaging with restaurants and hospitality operators professionally.
• Passionate about dining out, with insider knowledge of the local food and drink scene, and dedicated to expanding your writing portfolio.
