Freelance Writer

Duties:

• Create, Write, Review and proofread written materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity
• Ensure that all content adheres to established style guidelines
• Fact-check information to ensure accuracy and credibility
• Edit and revise content as necessary to improve readability and flow
• Conduct research to verify information and gather additional resources as needed
• Select high quality images
• Publish content on CMS

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style guidelines
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
• Proficient in using proofreading tools and software
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of journalism, copywriting, technical writing, proposal writing, creative writing, and fact-checking techniques
• Ability to edit and revise content while maintaining the original intent

Job Type: Contract

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
